Thread Dossier solves one of the oldest structural issues in forum software: the long-thread knowledge trap.

When an important discussion, troubleshooting guide, build log, or review thread reaches 20, 50, or 100 pages, the most valuable insights get buried in pagination. Post #1 goes stale because authors get overwhelmed, standalone wikis get ignored, and threadmarks only point to single posts without synthesizing information.

Thread Dossier docks an authoritative, structured reference deck at the head of the thread. It allows thread authors and co-curators to maintain a living brief, cite solutions from later pages, catalog key resources, and review community-submitted suggestions through a native, side-by-side visual diff queue.

Built strictly using native XenForo 2.3 framework patterns—zero external dependencies, zero AI APIs, and zero bloat.

Seamlessly integrated above Post #1 with responsive tabbed navigation:

• Executive Brief: An authoritative, rich-text overview of the topic's current status and accepted consensus (full BB code support).
• Key Findings & Citations: Highlight verified solutions, critical warnings, or breakthrough discoveries with 1-click quote chips pointing directly to the post number and author.

• Master enable/disable toggle
• Default display state (Expanded vs. Collapsed)
• Display scope (All thread pages vs. First page only)
• Allow thread authors to assign co-curators
• Maximum milestone and resource item limits

Installation
1. Download BP-ThreadDossier-1.0.0.zip.
2. In your XenForo Admin Control Panel, navigate to Add-ons > Install / upgrade from archive and upload the ZIP file.
3. Configure user group permissions under Groups & permissions > User group permissions.
4. Adjust optional settings under Setup > Options > Thread Dossier.
