N.O.V.A. Backup Vault is a complete local backup and protected recovery add-on for XenForo 2.3.

Security and recovery safeguards

• Storage paths inside the forum root, symbolic links and traversal paths are rejected

• Recovery runs as a protected non-cancellable XenForo background job

Important

This is a free public beta. Backups can contain database credentials, attachments and private forum content. Keep downloaded copies encrypted and access-controlled, and test recovery on an isolated staging forum before relying on it in production.

Version 0.5.2 was tested on XenForo 2.3.13. XenForo file health check completed successfully with 0 missing and 0 unexpected files.
