Version 1.0.37 : Trial license recovery

If a trial had already been issued for your domain, requesting a new one returned "trial already used" with no way to retrieve the existing key. The trial request now recovers your existing license automatically and activates it, so you're no longer stuck if you lost the serial after a reinstall.

If the recovered license can't be activated (for example because your Board URL no longer matches the licensed domain), the serial is now shown to you along with the reason, so you can resolve it yourself.

No database changes in this update.

Version 1.0.39 Fixes and improvements

• Fixed a fatal error during license validation caused by unqualified PHP constant references, which failed on certain server configurations.
• Lifetime licenses now correctly remove the "Powered by Mosaic PRO" footer across all gallery pages.

Note: license validation requires the PHP sodium extension. If your host has it disabled, the add-on will now tell you so directly — ask your hosting provider to enable it.

Version 1.0.40 New : image rotation and flip tool

Moderators can now fix incorrectly oriented photos directly from the gallery instead of deleting them. Rotate left, rotate right, rotate 180°, and flip horizontally or vertically — available on the media page and in "My media". All sizes (thumbnail, medium, full) are regenerated automatically.

Two new permissions control access:

• Rotate and flip any media — for moderators
• Rotate and flip own media — lets users fix their own uploads

Neither is enabled by default, so grant them to the relevant user groups after upgrading.

Fixes

Fixed image processing failing on servers where the PHP fileinfo extension or ImageMagick is not available. Image types are now detected from file contents rather than relying on those extensions.

This affected both regular uploads and, in particular, the XenForo Media Gallery importer: on affected servers every item failed with a "GD cannot load source image" error and nothing was imported. If your import failed for this reason, you can simply run it again after updating — existing items are skipped, so nothing gets duplicated.

Note: this update adds a database column, so make sure the upgrade completes fully.
